This is a very old computer running with Windows XP. Last week my HDD died, hence I bought a new one and installed everything again. Now the problem am facing is since I installed the new HDD there is a software that is not running any more. Every time I run the same, it gives me the following error message:

“Windows has blocked this software because it can't verify the publisher”

This was running fine earlier but not now. Somebody please help me know what is the exact problem and how can I get rid of it? Thank you.

I think you have set your Internet Explorer to prevent such unverified softwares. Hence you will need to configure IE to fix the problem.

• Open internet explorer, click Tools – Internet Options.
• Click the Security tab – Custom Level button.
• Under ActiveX ensure the following are set to enabled
• Set the following to “Prompt ”
• Click OK and Apply and OK. Restart the browser.

Thanks for the reply buddy but I have already done. First of all there was no such publisher listed over there to block.

Any other help please?
