| Can't Delete User Account From XP Home Edition
Help, please! I've tried other suggestions seen here and in other forums and still cannot delete a user account. For example, I've changed the account type, entered safe mode, moved file, documents, etc. to a new account - account will still not delete. What happens is that the system hangs and then says, "not responding" and gives an error message regarding "mshta.exe". I've looked for trojans and viruses in those files and thru the system, but nothing. mshta.exe seems to exist in .net framework. So, I re-installed that. Still same problem. Even tried re-installing OS, but can't because I've updated so much that my OS is now better than my re-install CD. Any other ideas???? Thanks!!!! -- FLASH |

The file mshta.exe is the Microsoft HTML Application Host, and comes with the product Internet Explorer. It's not a .NET Framework file. Is Internet Explorer on your computer version 6 or version 7? (Look in IE > Help > About Internet Explorer, for your exact version number).
