schannel error 36870 (extended 0x80090016)

I have recently reinstalled Windows server 2003 with Service pack 1 and have got some issues which are mentioned below:

Description:
A fatal error occurred when attempting to access the SSL server credential private key. The error code returned from the cryptographic module is 0x80090016.

A corporate CA into the Machine or Trusted Root and a server SSL certificate that is signed by the CorpCA is installed into a Mahince which is personla. They dont seem to be expired and look valid in mmc. After trying to reinstall them it is not working. What other things can I do to solve this issue?

You can try to grant everyone read access to the MachineKeys folder in respect to what you have already granted Admins and the System. Read the Default permissions for the MachineKeys folders Microsoft article from this link -

I dont think what you have told is going to work. But in any case I have fixed the issue by granting same permission to Netwok Service on the Machinekeys folder as to SYSTEM. And under the Network service account the Citrix XTE service is running and previously it was not accepting the SSL relayed connections and now everything is working fine.
