merging local and domain profiles

I receive error message "Failed to set security on destination profile. Error
- Access is denied," trying to copy a local profile to a domain profile. I'm
logged in as local administrator and I've reviewed the permissions of the
domain profile, but uncertain what needs to be modified to allow the data to
me copied. I've just added the local user account to the domain profile
folder with full control rights to see if that will allow the copying to
work. Any other suggestions?

Are you trying to do a straight copy or doing it the proper way?

Have you rebooted since either of the other two profile users logged in?

You could just modify the registry and file/directory perms on one profile
or the other and have both use the same profile.
