    Access is Denied. C\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents

When I try to access my Documents folder, I get the following reply, "
C\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents is not accessible. Access is
denied." I am running Windows XP Home and I am the administrator of my
computer, with no other user accounts. The Properties only shows two tabs,
"General" and "Sharing" with no Security tab or any other options. How can I
    regain access to this folder?

Exactly how are you trying to access your My Documents folder?

The folder you refer to, C:\Documents and Settings\All
Users\Documents, should be the Shared Documents folder you see
    in My Computer.

Try this, right click the My Documents icon on your Desktop.
Select Properties from the menu. What's listed in the Target
    box?

Unless you changed its location, your My Documents folder
should be located here, C:\Documents and
    Settings\YOURACCOUNT\My Documents.

If it's the Shared Documents folder you're having problems
    accessing, try the following advice.

To access the Security tab in Windows XP Home you'll have to
boot into Safe Mode and logon with an account that is a
    Computer Administrator.

To start in Safe Mode, reboot your computer and
start tapping the F8 key as soon as you see anything displayed
on the screen. Keep hitting F8 until the Advanced Startup
Options menu appears. Use the up and down arrow keys on your
keyboard to select Safe Mode. Hit Enter.

Once you've logged on in Safe Mode open My Computer and right
click the Shared Documents folder. On the Security tab, click
the Advanced button. You should see the following users and
permissions listed. Make sure the System, Administrators and
Creator Owner groups have Full Control permissions. The Users
group should have Read and Execute as well as Write. The
Everyone group should have Modify permissions. Note: If you see
an entry for Account Unknown (S-1-5-32-547), don't worry about
it. This refers to the Power Users group which is not available
    on an XP Home computer.

If you continue to have problems, post back and include answers
    to the questions I posed.

    Good luck
