What to do with invalid recovery certificate error on Windows XP

I am not able to decrypt any files on Windows XP. I am connected to a Windows 2003 server. When I try to decrypt a file I am getting access denied error on the screen. Also when I try to encrypt any other files on the network. I am getting a invalid recovery certificate error. I started working with putting a new recovery agent on the domain policy but that does not helped much. As it was already rejected. What should I do to fix the issue. Thanks.

It looks that your admin logins had expired due to which you are getting that error. You must first login in the system as administrator and then only you would be able to encrypt the files. Pr else you would not be able to create the EFS certificate. Try to change the password and then try to relogin. I hope this might help you. If you face any error related to that then you can simply post the related information here for more help.
