encoutered an Error: 0x80501001.

PLease help, Windows denfender encoutered an Error: 0x80501001. this problem
I have reinstalled it. I have 13 threaths and most are high. My other Virus
software do not have the threaths. How can I fix. Thanks.

Please post in one of the newsgroups specifically set up for the Windows
Defender program. This is not one of them.

Hello JB !

Leave Windows Defender for a while and consider cleaning the machone from
the threats .

Start with completely removing Windows Defender (from Control Panel ->
Add/Remove programs)
Then , read the Malware Removal Instructions here
http://pandaman.my.contact.bg which will help you get rid of the threats .

If you wish to use Windows Defender in the future , post your request in the
specific newsgroups where you'll get better support for it .Information how
to access them can be found here
