I have installed windows defender in my system running windows xp successfully and i am not able to launch it. I have tried starting it from control panel > administrative > services as well as form command prompt but no luck. I get Error Code 0x800106ba, i was thinking of uninstalling and reinstalling it but i am not able to uninstall it now. Please let me know if there is any solution that i can try out for starting windows defender without any such issues.

If you are not getting any of the below error:
Error Code 0x800106ba Application failed to initialize
Error Code 0x800106ba The systems license has expired. Your logon request is denied.
Than post back the complete error that you might be getting for further help.
