MS Security Essentials - problem with updates 0x80072ee2

Hello there I updated to final version on Win7 x86 from beta. But now when I
update the product to check new samples I get internet connection timeout
error and the error code 0x80072ee2. I'm behing firewall and proxy, but the
samples has been working few days before (with beta). Same problem has friend
of mine. Thank you.

If it is an authenticated proxy, MSE can't update through one.
In order to update signatures you need a clear connection to the Windows Update
back end.

Hi thanks for reply, I do not use authenticated proxy.

I have found why this problem is: MS Sec. Essentials DOES NOT SUPPORT PROXY !
It will try to connect directly to their updates servers (domain *msecn.net).
