PAV.exe Personal AntiVirus

Recently I was getting too many security pop ups telling me that my computer was infected. I was, however, able to find out the malware but was not able to get rid of it since it was not in the programs or anywhere else. When I checked in all programs then there I was getting an uninstall optopn for PAV but when I click to uninstall it then I get a message saying that "PAV stopped working". I also have antivirus installed on my computer but dont know how it got inside, can anyone tell me how to remove this thing?

Its easy to get rid of this PAV.exe Personal AntiVirus, just press ctrl + alt + delete and then open task manager, after that when it opens up then click on the Processes tab and then search from the list for pav.exe and then right click on it and end its process. After that go to My computer >> C: Drive >> Program Files and then look for a folder called PAV and delete it. And then go to the recycle bin and empty it. Now the Personal AntiVirus will be removed from your computer once and for all.
