The same problem occurs if you have changed the password and forget some service. So there, you have to download tools that you can use to troubleshoot account lockouts, as well as add functionality to Active Directory from this link - http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downl....aspx?id=18465 and then go to this link http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/l.../cc738772.aspx which discusses the tools that you can use to help you gather information from the network environment.

I am not able to get the AcctInfo.dll tab show up in Active Directory Users and Computers. I have tried to regsvr32 the dll and also have lockoutstatus.exe in systemroot\system32 as well but nothing seems to be working for me. Thanks for any replies.

You can try to use LDIFDE to import and export directory objects to Active Directory. The LDAP Data Interchange Format (LDIF) is a draft Internet standard for a file format that may be used for performing batch operations against directories that conform to the LDAP standards. LDIF can be used to export and import data, allowing batch operations such as add, create, and modify to be performed against the Active Directory. More information is given here - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/237677
