Windows XP Pro does not detect installed H/W

I recently purchased an HP Pavilion dv5-1233se laptop

http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/ca/en...2-3860489.html

which came preloaded with Windows Vista. I purchased a copy of Windows XP Pro and added to it the SATA driver with nLite, then I proceeded to install it on the hard drive with the format option to wipe out Vista and any other s/w that HP put on it. The installation went perfect but XP did not install the drivers for the Wireless internal adapter or the LAN adapter. I can no longer connect to the internet and download the drivers with Driver Robot. Can anyone send me the 32-bit drivers that will work with this laptop? Thank you.

The drivers are located on this page, scroll down to Driver - Network.

There are two wireless drivers, one for Intel and one for broadcom. I don't
know which one you have on your laptop so I would get both.

I suggest downloading to a flash drive and installing it on your laptop.

Tae,

Thank you, but those drivers are designed for Vista. The integrated WiFi card is manufactured by Broadcom. I downloaded a generic Broadcom driver from another HP laptop that has XP as one of the choices for OS, but did not work.
Do you think the Vista drivers will work with XP Pro SP3 that I have? Thanks.

Negative.

Sorry, I only saw word Vista for some reason... I see you are trying to get
Windows XP to work this laptop.

....

OK, I downloaded and reviewed the system specs more carefully and this is
what I found out...

The Broadcom is not wireless LAN as HP website might suggest. It is
actually a wireless broadband modem using technology used in cell phones. I
know, because I use one to connect to the internet through Verizon.

The WLAN (Wifi) feature is actually provided by the Intel PRO/Wireless chip
and you can download the driver directly from Intel.
