| Problem with AHCI Driver an Intel DG33FB motherboard by a CF to SATA adapter. If I select "Native ide Driver for sata ", the system boot properly but if I select AHCI driver, the system does not boot and I see a disk read error. Is where any way to fix this problem? Regards, Gianluca. |

Well, if you already installed XP onto the drive in "IDE Mode", then that's what you're stuck with. One would have to set it for "AHCI" before installing the OS and would also need the correct AHCI driver to give XP during the install, when it asks if you have any third party drivers that you need to install. The problem for me trying to do it, was that it requires the driver to be on a floppy and my laptop doesn't have a floppy drive, so I had to go with IDE Mode when I installed XP64 (same for XP32). -- Pastor Dave "The burden of Babylon, which Isaiah the son of Amoz did see. Howl ye; for the day of the Lord is AT HAND; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty. Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man's heart shall melt:" - Isaiah 13:1,6-9 This is the prophecy regarding Babylon, which was fulfilled in 539 B.C.. Did "every man's heart (actually, physically) melt? If not, then maybe you need to think about how you read the New Testament, sibce it is not an all new thing, but is the fulfillment of various prophecies in the Old Testament. And if you still try to claim that the New Testament should be taken as physically literal anyway, then you admit that you lie when you claim to interpret Scripture by Scripture. It is that simple! |
