MN-500 and SP2

Can I still use my MN-500 Base station w/ MN-520 Notebook Adaptor in XP SP2?
I just recently upgraded to SP2 and now it doesn't connect. Security
Settings won't match.
I tried setting it up w/out WEP and change it later, but the Notebook
Adaptor will not connect to the base station. Please help.

I did that. I'm typing in the specified WEP but it won't take. I even tried
to set it up w/out a WEP, but it still wouldn't connect. Anymore suggestions?
