Ghost image - IDE Hard drive to SATA hard drive

I had created a image file of Windows 2000 Pro SP4. I kept the same saved in my hard drive so that in case of any major crash or failure I can restore the same back when needed. So I had transfer the same to second hard drive which is SATA drive. Now it is just a image file. I can copy that anywhere. After transferring it to the SATA drive the system gave bluescreen on boot. In safe mode I found a errors related to some missing sata drivers in the image file. How can I put Sata drives in the image file.

It looks some bugs with the system. You have to run a repair setup to fix the issue. For that you will need Windows installation disc. Also ensure that the drive supports your system. If you are having a old motherboard then this kind of drive will give you error. I faced a bluescreen when I was trying to add a 500GB Sata drive on my Windows 2000 system. That failed to work.
