Adprep /forestprep error

Hi
i'm hoping someone has seen this error before and help me get past this

Adprep was unable to extend the schema
there is a schema conflict eith Exchange 2000. This schema is not upgraded.
The schema conflict must be resolved before running adprep. Resolve the
schema conflict, allow the change to replicate between all replication
partners, and then run Adprep. For more information on resolving the
conflict, see the Microsoft Knowledge base article Q325379

i'm running adprep /forest prep in my test lab, using adprep from 2k3 R2 disk

Have several W2k DC's 2 exchange servers but they are member servers.

any help appreciated thanks
