Outlook express can't connect to yahoo address

I'm trying to configure outlook express to call up my yahoo mail. I think I have all the settings correct, but perhaps I have over looked something...I followed setting directions from an internet page. I get the following error:


<There was a problem logging onto your mail server. Your Password was rejected. Account: 'plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com', Server: 'plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR [AUTH] Access to this service is not permitted.', Port: 995, Secure(SSL): Yes, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92>

Any help much appreciated.

Does this occur even if you telnet using POP commands to authenticate?

telnet exchangeCASbox 110

USER myusername (try also domain\username)
PASS mypassword

Can you also try to delete the mailbox, remove the user from AD and add them in with the same user name.

Thanks for the reply...unfortunately I am not computer literate enough to understand the instructions...could you spell these out for me please?

I have also just deleted the account and re-entered all details...same error...

Ok, googled the telnet thing..though uncertain what to enter after the cmd prompt entered <telnet exchangeCASbox 110> at the command prompt nada...entered plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com 465 still no connect...what else please einstein 007 (or anyone else on the telnet aspect of it?).
