Toshiba satellite L755 Touchpad not working roperly

my laptop is a toshiba satellite L755. my touchpad isn't working properly. i can move the cursor abit but sometimes barely. it just started happening. so im now having to use a usb mouse. and ive tried doin the F9 thing n going to the control panel but it says the device is working properly, well it isnt. trying to fix it myself without having to go to the shop. any suggestion?

Just uninstall and reinstall back again. Use the mouse with the same. Right click on My Computer > Properties > Device Manager. You can see under Human Interface design or under Mouse, the touchpad listed. Right click and uninstall it. Restart your laptop. Windows will install the drivers automatically. You can also update the drivers. You can also download the drivers from below list. If that also does not work then you might need to get an replacement for the same.
