Packard Bell takes advantage of World Gaming, which takes place from Friday to Sunday at the Palais Omnisports de Bercy in Paris to present its future provision of desktop machines to the players. This offer is structured around a new housing, developed by teams of Packard Bell and called iPower 2.0. With a design for the least original, this box made of aluminum offers jagged external forms, a polished surface, and carrying handles.
It includes a cage disk inclined at 45 degrees behind the front, which can accommodate up to four units format 3.5 inches. Feeding takes place under the motherboard, which helps clear the top of the box, and include fans of light.
Packard Bell, which markets long configurations complete, to take place among retailers or on the shelves of supermarkets, does not change its habits, and configurations sold under the brand iPower 2.0 will be extended to casual players or confirmed, who do not feel the need to assemble their machine from A to Z.
Initial configurations for sale should accommodate Intel processors coupled with nVidia graphics cards. This choice is not definitive, said representatives of the firm, measured gaze by representatives of both firms concerned when the issue was discussed.
The configurations should range from 999 to 1999 euros, said Packard Bell, well aware that the bulk of sales will be made on the lower part of this range. Core 2 Quad and other GeForce GTX should therefore be to the party, to varying degrees, based on your portfolio. In contrast to a Dell or an Alienware, Packard Bell is apparently not done in configuring the application. The first machines iPower 2.0 should make their entry into the market during the fourth quarter.
Convinced that the full machinery segment addressed the players soon reveal its full potential, Packard Bell also aims to launch laptops typed gamers. The plans for this 17-inch machine, equipped in its high-end version of a Core 2 Quad, DDR3, future GeForce 9800M GTS, and a slab 1920 x 1200 pixels are already plotted. Do more to Packard Bell to move to serious things. Again, the arrival is scheduled for the end of the year.
