Imation to introduce Ultra Slim Portable Hard Drive

Imation has introduced its new sleek, compact hard drive called the Apollo Portable Hard Drive in India. The new drives are based on 2.5-inch hard drive technology. The new drive can save up to 320GB of data.

Lightweight, stylish look and durability are the key features of the Imation Apollo Portable Hard Drive. Moreover, the drives need no external power, they are powered through USB.

Designed for use with both PC and Mac systems, desktops and laptops, the drive provides backup, schedule, synchronize and restore functions by just clicking a mouse button.

The huge capacity of up to 320GB will make taking back ups easy for users. In addition its sleek and compact size enables users to carry the drive along with them.

Apart from a massive capacity, the Apollo Portable Hard Drives also possess an elegant look. Thus the fashion conscious will not mind using the drive.

When the drive is in the process of transferring data, a blue LED light is emitted indicating the process.

Imation Apollo 2.5" Portable Hard Drive will appeal to tech-savvy consumers and business professionals alike and will be available in 160GB, 250GB or 320GB in India through their Channel Partners. However no pricing details have been released by the company. They are expected to be available in the Indian market by June 2008.

The thickness of this drive is barely 9 mm.This hard drive at the moment gives you around 320 GB of available space. At the price they are these discs in the market, or n little expensive, but it pays 38% thinner than other discs in the house, just the thickness of a pencil, and fits in a pocket.
