HP's latest creation is the link between traditional computer and 3D creation through HP Sprout, a Windows 8.1 touch screen with integrated projector for 3D capture objects, before 3D printing.

Once again undergoing reorganization will lead to split in two, the HP group joins the battle of the 3D printing with Blended Reality initiative that consists of two main elements: a HP Multi Jet Fusion printer for 3D printing and a computer making the connection between the real world and 3D creation with the Sprout by HP.

This serves several purposes: to gather tools in a machine and 3D design creativity and allow easy and intuitive use. To this end, the computer offers both touchscreen display and a vertical surface with also tactile experience working for a dual screen passing and work project from the surface to the screen and vice versa.

The Sprout computer by HP includes a 3D scanner that consists of three high definition cameras for creating a 3D rendering of a snapshot object in its field and to work immediately on a project with a set of tools via the DLP 1024 x 720 pixels present at the top of the machine.

The Sprout computer by HP is a PC running with Windows 8.1 with a 23 -inch touchscreen display with Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels) associated with a work surface of 20-inch touch operable with a stylus. On board, there is an Intel Core i7-4790S processor with 8 GB of RAM (expandable to 16GB) and a GeForce GT745A Nvidia graphics card with 2GB DDR3 dedicated memory.

With the storage space of 1 TB this computer embarks wireless connectivity of WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0, with a connector consisting of two USB 2.0 ports and two USB 3.0 ports, and a memory card reader.

In addition to its particular configuration, HP relies on Sprout Marketplace, including a portal applications that can leverage the Immersive Computing platform inaugurated with the Sprout computer by HP. For its launch, it will contain multimedia applications and entertainment creation suites adapted to the environment and dual screen applications provided by HP to capture 3D objects, manipulate and share creations.

A development kit is already available to create applications that take advantage of specific configuration and tools Sprout by HP. The new creative HP computer will be available from November 9, 2014 at a price of $1899 approximately.
