Capcom to transition Windows PC games to Valve's Steamworks

The publisher Capcom will continue to migrate its branded Windows PC Games from Windows Live to Steam through the Steamworks tool, since the Microsoft is now completely fenced.

The publisher Capcom has released several of its games on the PC platform with a connection to Games for Windows Live (GFWL) from Microsoft, which is now permanently closed by the publisher.

Accordingly, Capcom begins to repatriate its games on Steam through the Steamworks tool.

Resident Evil 5

Also, early in 2015, Resident Evil 5, Dead Rising 2 and its extension Dead Rising 2: Off the Record will be transferred to the platform Valve.

This approach follows the one made with Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition . However, some games such as Lost Planet 2 or Street Fighter X Tekken is still confined to the service of Games for Windows Live.
