Next Android L to be called as Lemon Meringue Pie - Android LMP
The next version of Android, under the name Android L, could have the final name as Android MLP or Lemon Meringue Pie.
The version of Android after KitKat was the subject of a presentation at the developers I/O conference of Google as the Android L, leaving open the mystery of its final name. A name called Android Key Lime Pie attributed to Android 5.0 has been discussed some time ago, followed by Android Lollipop which was attempted just before the Google I/O to stick to the letter L, but the last minor updates have KitKat rich flavor without giving any clues about the name of the next version.
The Android will change in a few months in a final version, but the name of this new version is still not known. References of LMP found here and there on Android L suggests that it will perhaps be Lemon Meringue Pie.
This could only be, however, that the codename of the preview of Android L, with a final version of another name beginning with the letter L.
Android Key Lime Pie, identified in drafts under the symbol KLP, having becoming Android KitKat at the last moment for the 4.4.x release, paris remains open on the dessert chosen to represent the new version of the mobile platform to Android, abbreviation LMP that can hide a different final name as recalled by the Android Authority website that advance the name of Lemon Meringue Pie.
