Konami has confirmed as part of the Gamescom 2014 that MGS V: The Phantom Pain and its prologue Ground Zeroes will finally arrive on PC, through the download platform Steam.

While the prologue Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is available on consoles for a few months, we are now waiting for the release of MGS V: The Phantom Pain at the end of 2014. At the earliest, no official confirmation was set for the PC previously though.

Yet Hideo Kojima has revealed his desire to adapt its stealth game on the computer platform.

The publisher Konami has used Gamescom to confirm the PC versions of Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain, which will be distributed on paperless download format on Steam platform.

For now, no release date is displayed for the two forms of game from Valve, but we know that the games will run logically in 1080p and 60 frames per second through the FOX Engine.
