Samsung is a manufacturer known for multiplying devices in its various lines, and recently, the Korean professional sector targeted with new touch pads. However, it is unlikely that the products are successful in the short term.

Analysts Digitimes Research confirmed that the Samsung 12.2 inch screen tablet offered to professionals should not have something as important as that expected by the brand success. The site already announced limitation to 1 million units for 2014 sales.

While the tablet offers a large screen, a real way and a new multitasking interface, however, companies should not be seduced by its price/performance ratio, far below that of notebooks offered at a similar price.

Samsung Galaxy NotePro

Instead of relying on the hardware capabilities of the tablet, Samsung has focused more on the development of a new user interface, integrated software and applications as well as interconnections with other hardware devices. The efforts is a breakthrough in business, while strengthening its competitiveness, especially against the tablets offered by Microsoft or Apple.

Unfortunately, TapPRO 12.2 inch input range is currently charged at 649 euros, with its opposite, the NotePro displayed to 849 euros. A high entry ticket which already corresponds to the price of a notebook mid-end or high-end. Aside from a screen and an honorable independence, Samsung tablets do not really trump allowing them to stand out notebooks for businesses.

In addition, Android is still struggling to provide tablet applications for businesses and professionals, unlike Windows or Mac environment. It is difficult in these conditions to see Android as a serious platform in the professional field. And again, the lack of productive applications currently available displays compatibility issues with the new interface of Samsung and multitasking.
