A Touch Excite 7 tablet was announced by Toshiba brand. It comes at an affordable price below $200.
Accusing 350 grams on the scale, it is, as its name suggests, a touch pad to 7 inches format. Powered by a quad core ARM 1.8GHz processor (Rockchip RK3188 introduced earlier this year) and associated with a 1 GB RAM, it comes with the Android environment version 4.2.2 aka Jelly Bean.
In terms of equipment, it offers a multitouch screen of 1024 x 600 pixels (Mali-400 quad-core solution in command), two speakers, a Wi-Fi wireless network connection at 802.11n , 0.3mp camera at front and 3 megapixel sensors at rear and connectivity of Micro-USB 2.0/Bluetooth 4.0. No HDMI is provided however. It also embeds a flash memory of 8 GB with a MicroSD memory card slot.
On board to finish, there is a non-removable battery allowing up to 13 hours of mixed use and up to 9 hours of video playback.
Price side, it comes for 169.99 dollars.
