In ten days, NVIDIA will provide all PC gamers card holders a Kepler tool, allowing them to easily and efficiently record their gaming sessions.

Called Shadowplay, this technology was presented as one of the major innovations designed by NVIDIA for PC gamers and a direct competitor software such as FRAPS. NVIDIA sees something like a digital video recorder for capturing game footage in 1080p without any effort and without any impact on the flow of the game, provided you have a Kepler graphics card.

To simplify the maximum use of it, Shadowplay integrates directly with GeForce Experience and dissemination of content on Twitch that was designed from the outset to the configuration tool for having a very reliable solution to visibly upload videos.

NVIDIA sits on the H264 codec to broadcast video and the manufacturer had planned a demonstration to accompany the announcement. Splinter Cell Blacklist was used before the launch and then captured with the fluidity of about 125-130 fps, it fell slightly to 120-125 fps during capture.

Twitch users should also be pleased to see that the gap is very small (only one second) yet one that delivers content and viewing on Twitch. It should be possible from the October 28 launch date for the beta Shadowplay.
