After Monday unveiling its SteamOS system, Valve took opportunity on Wednesday to discuss at the hardware part. If the firm does not discloses a machine itself, it proposes to register a beta hardware to be among the first to test the Steambox.

The studio Valve continues its series of ads in three stages: after SteamOS, a new initiative for Steam Machines has just been unveiled. The latter concerns the hardware: Valve announced its intention to "offer a wide range of Steam machinery during 2014." These will feature SteamOS and should propose configurations designed to function without the user having to intervene in their assembly.

But time is not the technical specifications: Valve is in the recruitment phase for beta testing its first machines. As such, the studio launched a campaign to recruit 300 players who will be the first to test the prototype of valve.
