Google has unveiled a new service to help a user when a problem arises in his everyday life. Called Helpouts and for now only available for those with an invitation, the tool is like a video service that can be received on anyone's landline, a smartphone or tablet.
The American firm delivers more details about its video service Helpouts. Based on the Google+ social network and especially on the function to discuss through videos (Hangouts), Helpouts is defined as an assistance tool for everyday worries of people or even to get information from professionals. Google intends to capitalize on the excitement around the coaching but also services to people to promote their video via this tool.
The tool uses the services developed by Google outside of Google+, since the Helpouts payments are made via Google Wallet. The U.S. firm also said it will charge 20% of the amount of the transaction between the client and the professional.
The service is not yet available, but those with an invitation can now test it. Google also details the operation of Helpouts through several pages provided for the creation of an account, the categorization of the video, how to contact someone, etc.
