Samsung launches Galaxy Golden Dual-Screen Flip Phone

Samsung has recently formalized a new clamshell smartphone running Android called Galaxy Golden. For the Korean market, this model offers superior specifications.

The Samsung Galaxy Golden has two Super AMOLED touchscreen of 3.7 inches both having an resolution of 800 x 480 pixels arranged in the same manner as in the Samsung Hennessy phone - one in front and the other is along the inside of an alphanumeric keyboard. The smartphone, which runs on Android 4.2 can be used when open or closed, depending on the needs of the user.

For the rest of the specifications, you can count on a dual-core Snapdragon processor clocked at 1.7 GHz, 8 megapixel sensor with LED flash at the rear and 1.9 megapixel camera at front. It supports 4G LTE and incorporates a battery of 1820 mAh and has specific application to Samsung, as S-Health and Easy Mode. It is will be soon sold in South Korea at a price of 799,700 won, or about 535 euros.

The flip phone seems to be back in force! The manufacturer Samsung seems determined to force the return of the vintage telephone manner after a long time. While the flip phone has been totally eclipsed in the early 2000's by smartphones and camera phones, the Korean manufacturer wants to go back to basics.
