Intex launches two more budget smartphones in India yesterday named as Intex Cloud X4 and Intex Cloud Y2. Both are Android 4.2 JellyBean smartphones priced at Rs. 4,590/- (Cloud X4) and the Rs. 6,190/- (Cloud Y2). These devices can be strong competitor for other budget phones releases since last week from Micromax, Lava and Karbonn. Lets find out each of these devices in details.

The cheapest among these is the Intex Cloud X4 featuring 3.5-inch capacitive display offering 320 × 480 pixels resolution. It is a DUAL Sim phone running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system. Intex has powered the phone with 1GHz processor which seems to be very good at this price but fails with just 256MB of RAM. There is also a 3.2 Megapixel rear camera with 0.3 Megapixel front facing camera allowing you to make video calls. In terms of connectivity Cloud X4 supports 3G, GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. As far as connectivity is concerned, it comes with built-in 512Mb of storage which can be of course expanded upto 32using MicroSD Card. The phone is running on 1,500 mAH battery from which we can expect upto 5 hours of battery life in usage mode.


On the other hand, Intex Cloud Y2 is bit superior than Cloud X4. Running on the same Android 4.2 JellyBean it features a 4-inch display with 480 x 800 pixels resolution. Intex has powered the phone with 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and 512 MB RAM that makes the device work smooth and to offer better multitasking. With Cloud Y2 we get 4Gb built-in storage and expandable slot upto 32GB using MicroSD. Users also get a 5 Megapixel Autofocus rear camera allowing you to capture your favorite moments in high quality. as well as 1.3 megapixel front facing camera. As per connectivity Intex Cloud Y2 supports 3G, WiFi, and Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP. This is also running on the same 1500 mAH battery offering 5 to 7 hours of battery life.


Both Cloud Y2 and Cloud X4 are now available in with retailers and online vendors at the said price of Rs. 4,590, Rs. 6,190/- respectively.
