A well known Indian Manufacturer Micromax today launched yet another budget Android smartphone named as "Micromax A34". It is an entry level smartphone with basic configuration priced at Rs. 4,399/- It is yet another attempt from the manufacturer to be the best competitor to other brands such as Intex, Karbonn and Lava who recently launched few budget smartphones under Rs. 5,000.

Micromax A34 features a 3.95-inch capacitive touch screen display offering 320 x 480 Pixels resolutions. This is surely not for watching HD movies or playing HD games but to carry out day to day important tasks. The device is running on Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread OS, and there are no words from Micromax if the device will receive any firmware update in future. However, no matter the device is small in size but they have powered the same with 1GHz processor accompanied with 256Mb of RAM. We cannot expect very good multitasking but the device can perform good with single app at a time.


With Micromax A34 we also get 2 megapixel rear camera with LED flash. However there doesn't seems to be a front facing camera which means the device is not for making video calls. As per storage A34 comes with only 165 MB internal memory which can be further expanded upto 32GB using microSD card. As far as connectivity is concerned, the device lacks 3G connectivity but it supports 2G (EDGE),Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and micro USB port.

Micromax A34 is a Dual Sim phone powered with 1350 mAh battery offering battery life of upto 4 hours in usage mode. The phone is now available across retailers and online vendors in just one Black Color at the price of Rs. 4,399/-
