A few days before Apple's WWDC, rumors continue to expand around that a streaming radio service and the Cupertino company has signed with Sony Music.
Apple has finally managed to find common ground with the record company of Sony Music Entertainment. In any case this information refers from a source blog - AllThingsD. In recent weeks the company has signed agreements with two giants: Universal Music and Warner Music.
Therefore, it seems that Apple indeed wants to launch a streaming music service. This offer would complement the purchase and downloading of songs are already available within iTunes. However the creation of customization without the ability to choose a song or album in particular should provide a greater flexibility in license fees for radios. Note however that the news still remains to find some agreement with the independent branch of Sony/ATV.
According to previous sources, the service would be built around an advertising model, which should be supported by the authority iAd. We find ourselves with further advanced options and the possibility to buy a piece directly from the iTunes catalog, therefore a gain for labels garnering 70% of the sale price of each song.
Of course, Apple will face stiff competition from Pandora, Spotify or Rdio, but coupled with its iOS devices, this service could quickly find its place on the market. In addition, Apple posted 500 million accounts on iTunes.
