Acer to launch Iconia Tab A110 - Android 4.1 Jelly Bean tablet on October 30 for $229.99

Acer has officially announced to launch Iconia Tab A110 - Android 4.1 Jelly Bean tablet on October 30 for $229.99 in US and Canadian market. Iconia Tab A110 has 7-inch multi-touch screen with 1,024x600 pixel resolution powered by Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core processor, 1GB of ram and runs the latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. It is quite slim (half an inch) and light in weight (.08 pound) . It has 2-megapixel front-facing camera, 8GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD slot. As far as connectivity is concerned it supports Micro-HDMI output with dual display, Micro-USB 2.0 port, Bluetooth 3.0 and wifi. Sources say that it will live up to 7.5 hours with continuous browsing.

Iconia Tab A110 specification seems similar to Google's Nexus 7 which is cheaper as well. The only + point Iconia Tab A110 has is microSD card slot along with micro USB port. These two things can surely let Iconia Tab A110 win over Nexus 7.

Currently i am waiting for Apple's iPad Mini price to get revealed, if it lands up in same budget than it can be a rival for Tab A110.
