Sony has announced Bravia KD-X9000 TV - 84-inch TV with 4K technology. It is Sony’s first TV to have 4K technology. It will give 4 times better resolution compared to Full HD TV. Its pre booking will start from October 20 this year and it will be priced at Rs. 16,99,990. Sources say that it will be available by end of November 2012. It comes with Sony's proprietary X-Reality engine for better viewing experience and is capable of scaling HD content for clear and crispier view. It comes incorporated with 2 tower speakers mounted at the right side of the TV itself. Each tower has 10 drivers along with tweeters, woofers and sub-woofers.
Sony has also announced Personal 3D Viewer HMZ-T2, its Sony’s next generation wearable 3D display. It specs and looks are quite similar to that of HMZ-T1 which was launched last year. Once a user puts this head-mounted unit on he/she will be presented with 0.7-inch OLED monitor’s and will deliver 45 degrees of 3D entertainment.
