New rumors speculate on the technical characteristics of a forthcoming smartphone from LG, in addition to the Nexus family of Google.

It was recently reported that the Korean manufacturer LG was working on a future Android smartphone. This would be the first to take the next edition of Android 4.2 operating system version and also to integrate the Nexus family of smartphones. The site Modaco reports have confirmed several specifications for the next phone, which would be unveiled next month.

Called the LG Optimus G Nexus, it would be powered by a Qualcomm S4 chip quad core coupled with 2GB of RAM. HD IPS screen would display its definition of 1280 x 768. The device embark a camera of 8 megapixels and is marketed in two versions: 8GB and 16GB. Note however that this storage capacity is not scalable by the microSD slot by default. Furthermore to that, it will have a non-removable battery with the capability of being coupled to a wireless recharging device.

These features strongly reminiscent of those of the LG Optimus G, unveiled in late August by the manufacturer. According to the blog Androidandme, Android 4.2 will optimize battery cycle and introduce a theme manager and a new version of Google Play.
