Ira Comet HD a 10.1-inch ICS tablet has been launched by Wishtel for Rs. 9,999. It comes with 1.2GHz ARM11 Cortex A8 processor, 1GB ram, 8 gb internal storage which can be extended up to 32GB . It has a 10.1-inch multi-touch capacitive display with 800x1,024 pixel resolution. It features stereo speakers, Bluetooth connectivity, USB and HDMI ports. It supports motion-based gaming with its built-in ‘G-sensor’. It has 2MP rear camera, VGA front camera, large 5,00 mAh battery which is capable of delivering 6 hours of browsing time.
Ira Comet HD comes filled with productivity tools, educational video contents, course materials for CBSE, ICSE, IIT - JEE, Medical AIPMT, CAT and GMAT. Bundling of such educational contents in tablets was started by Micromax in their Funbook and Funbook pro. New tablet manufacturers like Whistle, swipe have started coming up with their tablets to join the race of cheap tablets and compete the leaning ones. Wishtel has used 3D Graphics technology in Ira Comet HD - 10.1-inch ICS tablet for better viewing experience. Ira Comet HD is not the first tablet launched by Wishtel, earlier this year they had launched Ira, Ira Thing, and Ira Thing 2 tablets and had got good response as well.
