Chrome OS allows users to save files directly to Google Drive account

With the latest stable version of Chrome OS, Google can now save its contents and documents directly on the online service Google Drive.

While some attention has declined somewhat around the Chrome OS project, Google does not pursue the development of its operating system based on the Chrome browser, with regular publication of new updates. The latest, announced via a blog post here, binds more tightly to the online service system storage house, since Chrome OS can now save directly in Google Drive.

Among other changes, Google also states that the list of applications redesigned, are more compact and a search field is also added at the top of the latter. The print function has been redesigned online and support the audio, which is now provided via the USB and HDMI Chromebook laptops, officially distributed in the United States and the United Kingdom. The wallpaper is finally customizable.

Recall that ChromeOS is as extremely lightweight version of Debian, where the application environment is limited mainly to the Chrome browser and services, online or offline, to which it gives access.

Re: Chrome OS allows users to save files directly to Google Drive account

So Google Drive is finally able to synchronize files between Google and the various supported devices, either by copying the file to a PC or by downloading via the web interface, which is available on other devices. Also service is closely related to Google Docs, Google suite of applications for typing, presentations and spreadsheets. This is nice job done by google.
