Upcoming Action Adventure Game Darksiders 2 will release in August

THQ has recently announced release date of Darksiders 2 to be August 14, 2012 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. They have said that Darksiders 2 is getting mass response and it has been pre-ordered five times more than Darksiders. The story line of Darksiders 2 is said to be as that of Darksiders. The game will be having new maps featuring “Strife” and “Fury” horsemen and this time players will be having the ability to control Horseman Death. There will be more Death across City hubs, the city hub will be connected to several dungeons. They have included Loot, 12 different armor piece categories as rewards for powering up Death's Wrath Powers.

Darksiders II will start at the same time as that of the first Darksiders. Once the War is convicted and sent to Earth they will inform the Horseman of his fate. Horseman Death will believe that his brother death is a victim of conspiracy and will set a personal mission for finding out the proof of innocence for his brother. Horseman Death will travel Nether Realms which is said to be a place between Heaven and Hell for favors from powerful beings.

Darksiders 2 will not be having multiplayer as there were some technical issues because of which THQ were not able to develop each horseman individually for now. Previously Darksiders II was announced to hit stores on June 26, 2012 by THQ along with Pre-order DLC bonuses but now they have announced on their website that Darksiders II will be delayed until August 2012.

Darksiders 2 is going to be awesome but while going through the preview of the same I have found that they are focusing mostly on stylized demon underworld and not on earth. The game is looking better than the previous part and I am really impressed with it. Looking forward to get it as soon as possible and really can’t long for it. Hope THQ stand on their words and release the game on August 14, 2012.
