Amazon Kindle Fire 2 is said to be releasing by this august to compete with Google Nexus 7 in the race of low end tablets. Sources say that Amazon has ordered 2 million 7-inch Kindle Fire 2s from Quanta for releasing them by august but this has not been confirmed yet. Amazon Kindle Fire 2 is said to be having integrated lighting and improved hardware’s but the specification of Kindle Fire 2 has not been revealed by the time. Previously First generation of Amazon Kindle Fire had got huge response from the mass and was said to be 'iPad Killer' as well. It was Amazon’s best-selling item and was standing as a rival to Barnes & Noble Nook tablet and we can expect it to do the same against Nexus 7. Kindle Fire 2 is said to be be sold for $200 with a 1280×800 7-inch touchscreen along with quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor and 1GB of RAM. If that remains true then we will soon see war between low end tablet’s in the market.
Sources say that we can expect below 3 models of Amazon Kindle Fire 2:
- 7-inch version having 1024 X 600 pixel screen resolution
- 7-inch version having 1280 X 800 pixel screen resolution
- 8.9-inch version having HD display with 1920 X 1200 pixel screen resolution
There are other rumors as well saying that Amazon Kindle Fire 2 will have 10.1-inch built rather than 7-inch and 8.9-inch. Other than this it will be having physical hardware buttons for volume control along with a camera and 8GB internal storage. There are different rumored specs all around but I think we will have to wait for the specs to be revealed before making any point.
