Download Google Chrome final version for Android Phones
The mobile browser Chrome for Android is now available for download in final version.
Alongside the opening of the Google I/O conference, the Chrome browser for Android smartphone users has been completed. Launched in beta in February, the application is only available for devices with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Inside, we also find the unifying Omnibox address bar and search engine, bookmark sync and passwords, management tabbed web pages, or the private browsing Incognito mode.
On the official blog of the team, Srikanth Rajagopalan, product manager at Google, said the final package (v.18.0.1025123) optimizes stability and the speed of the browser. The developers have also fixed some user interface elements, especially for tablets. Subsequently Android Google should focus on its other distribution channels allowing mobile users to test the beta and developer editions.
The Nexus 7 tablet unveiled recently by Google is also the first device to board Chrome as default browser. Note in passing that Mozilla announced earlier this week, the final deployment of Firefox for Android which would be faster with better ergonomics.
