To mark the arrival of the Galaxy S III in the market, Samsung has unveiled a new accessory on the occasion of smartphones equipped with NFC technology, called: TecTiles.
Samsung brings something fresh to the field of NFC technology. With the newly introduced programmable NFC stickers TecTiles that will be launched on the Galaxy S3 in the U.S., certain processes can be activated with a short contact - let it be the alarm clock or music. Even a check by Foursquare is possible with the Samsung TecTiles - the possibilities are endless.
The principle of the programmable NFC sticker is easy. If you gained these stickers, they may be using an NFC-enabled smartphones and corresponding app recorded with specific functions. It is also possible to change several functions. For example, a sticker pasted on a bedside table can have the action of silent mode on smartphone when it is passed on. In shops or in cafes and the like, one can use the Foursquare or Facebook check to the NFC tags which should be done.
