Logitech has introduced the Wireless Solar Keyboard K760, a keyboard that looks like a direct descendant of K750 marketed in the year 2010. The main difference lies in the K760's Bluetooth wireless connectivity.
It is increasingly common for Logitech to target Apple users, and the Swiss brand is no exception to the rule with the Wireless Solar Keyboard K760, presented as being an ideal companion to Mac, iPhone or iPad. "When we introduced the K750 for Mac last fall, some customers have told us they wanted a solar keyboard using a Bluetooth wireless connection", said a spokesman for the brand on its site.
Billed as "specially designed for Apple products", the K760 shows the outline of the K750 and in particular its Mac model, which is already in white color - but that used a 2.4 GHz connection provided by a Unifying dongle. Here, the solar panel is wider and the Bluetooth button lets you switch a device connected to the other, in the limit of 3 meters. There are also specific buttons to the Apple environment. With an average usage of 8 hours per day, the battery of the K760 has a talk time of 3 months. This keyboard will be available in the month of July at a price of 79.99 dollars - a similar price in euros should be applied.
