Lenovo unveils ThinkStation E31

Lenovo unveiled the ThinkStation E31 workstation with mini tower which will be out from 5th of June and small form factor model will be out on 13th July 2012.

You will get two choices with the Lenovo ThinkStation E31 workstation and these choices are Intel Xeon E3 E3-1200 v2 otherwise Intel Core i7 processor. There will be the Error Correcting Code (ECC) memory with the Lenovo ThinkStation E31 workstation that comes with the regular 1600MHz DDR3 RAM. Other than this, it is also having USB3.0 ports. You will get options from Intel HD Graphics 4000 or Nvidia Quadro GPUs (Q4000 or Q600). There is possibility that with the mini-tower model, they will provide e 9 TB of storage. Or it can be 6 TB of storage along with the small form factor model. This is going to be available as of the Lenovo’s business partners.

There is just one difference between these two units and that is the change in the customization option and this is the reason that it can have up to 3 hard drives on the other hand the small will only accommodate 2 disks. Lenovo ThinkStation E31 will be having the onboard pre-install Windows 7 Professional. In both the cases you will able to opt for SSD. They both comes with the Intel P4000 HD and that is the same for both the cases and the upgrade option for this is differ from the model that you will have. They have also promised that this workstation will be energy friendly that will give you the 92% efficient. The tower can accommodate a Quadro Q4000. Both teams start with a price of Rs 35000 and reach the market from June 5 to the tower and the 13 for the compact.
