NVIDIA Maximus that develops innovative technology that brings new era of speed and productivity for millions of creative professionals and designers. This new solution unleashes productivity and creativity, accelerating significantly the workflow of creative professionals.
Until now, interactive graphics-and compute-intensive number crunching and simultaneous simulation and rendering the results in individual steps or on separate systems to run, this should now be on a system with the Maximus technology simultaneously possible. This would also cost-effective workstations complex analysis and sophisticated visualization, utilizing the simultaneous processing of graphics processing power provided. With Maximus you can enable NVIDIA for the first time in a single system capable of handling simultaneously interactive graphics and numerical processing of large computational load.
NVIDIA Maximus does so by joining the professional 3D graphics capabilities of the graphics processing unit NVIDIA Quadro with the massive parallel processing power of the GPU companion, NVIDIA Tesla C2075 -under a unified technology transparently assigning work to each processor and is certified by leading application providers in the industry. Instead of allocating resources between two graphics processors, Maximus proposes hybridization of GPU Quadro and Tesla. Quadro is active when it deals with graphics such as computer aided design (CAD) and Tesla is facing raw computing tasks. Now, systems can use Maximus to intelligently distribute the load, if necessary.
The Maximus Technology is responsible for assigning work to their corresponding maps. So shall raking in applications with GPU support - for example, Adobe, Autodesk and Dassault Systemes - automatically to the specialized processor can be assigned to Tesla, while the resources of the Quadro GPU for graphics processing capabilities can be used. Technically the whole thing is - similar to the combination of Intel IGP and Nvidia GPU with Optimus - from the driver level, both product families now share a common driver. This recognizes what kind a work load, and it has to be optimized for the card, making the work easier for developers.
Maximus The technology is now available. Leading manufacturer of workstations, including HP, Dell, Lenovo and Fujitsu, offer systems with Maximus technology, for example, the following models: HP workstations with the entry-level model Z400 and Z800's top model, the tower workstations Dell Precision T5500 and T7500 and the Dell Precision R5500 rack workstation, Lenovo ThinkStation S20, C20 and D20 workstations and Fujitsu CELSIUS M470, R570 and R670 workstations.
