Re: Novatech Announced a new 14 inch nFinity Ultrabook

At 430 Euro it will not be a high-performance processor but a Core i3-2367M clocked at 1.4Ghz. Far more powerful than Atom, this chip should allow full use of a machine such as the video for office work and light play. Other processor options are available but the price obviously bit expensive: A Core i5-2467M clocked at 1.6 GHz and 2.3 GHz will be available up to 695 € and finally a Core i7-2637M 1.7 GHz to 2.8 GHz for € 839. These prices do not mean the cheap equipment: Aside from a 14 "which remains in 1366 x 768 and probably in TN, RAM between 2 and 4 GB storage and SSD type ranges from 64 to 128 GB Item USB 3.0 but only 3 USB 2.0, HDMI and VGA, Bluetooth, an SDHC card reader and a 1.3 megapixel webcam.

Re: Novatech Announced a new 14 inch nFinity Ultrabook

Novatech has just put their own Ultrabook: New line of nFinity svelte, 14-inch laptops. The basic model is driven by a chip i3, 2 GB of RAM and 64 GB of SSD storage, for an asking price £ 430 (around $ 687). There are of course options i5 and i7 too (£ 580 / $ 926 and £ 699 / $ 1117 respectively), both of which get an upgrade the RAM to 4 GB and double the SSD 128 GB. There are a couple of things that can reduce the flame, such as the lack of USB 3.0, and maybe the plastic finish.
