PocketBook has finally released its A7 android tablet. It was last year that pocketbook had launched its 10-inch A10 slate. This time the manufacturer pocketbook comes with a 7 inch tablet that is powered by android 2.3.7 Gingerbread operating system. A7 can be utilized as an e-reader as well as a regular tablet.
The A7 Android Tablet comes with a 7″ capacitive touchscreen with the resolution of 1024 x 600. It has a 1GHz ARM Cortex-A8 processor and a PowerVR SGX530 GPU. The device will have a 4GB of internal storage, external memory can be further extended with the help of SD card, 512 MB RAM, full android market support, front facing 2 megapixel camera. The device will also have a stereo speakers as well as headphone jack for entertainment purposes.
As it has been already mentioned it is an e book reader as well as a tablet. So that’s why it will support maximum file formats including WAV, MP3, MKV, AVI, MP4, EPUB, PDF, FB2, TXZT, HTML, DOC, and more. It will be available in white plastic case and will have a weight of about 410 grams. Currently we don’t have much information about the price of the tablet and when it will be made available in the markets.
