Asus Zenbook launched in India for Rs.89,999

Asus last week launched its ultrabook, a slim and sleek laptop. The laptop is said to be 0.67 inch thick and weighs around 1.4kg. Asus Zenbook is powered by core i7 processor, USB 3.0 port, has 4GB RAM, 256GB hard disk, a chiclet style keyboard, an aluminum unibody design and windows 7 as its operating system.

Right now it is being launched with the screen size of 13.3 inches many more models with core i5 processor and larger screen would be launched in the coming year 2012.





With the launch of Zenbook, Asus is hoping that it would be able to give some tough competition to the already lighter MacBook AIR and also divert the users attention from the tablets. However, it would be interesting to see, apart from the slim design and light weight what else would be new in this laptop.

Only few months ago Asus had launched its ultrabook - S3 - in India for Rs 49,990. It would be interesting to see how this Zenbook would fare among the Indian users with such a high price.

It is exceptionally thin and i must say that it is the most slimmest piece that i have seen in the recent laptops. I should say that it should fare well in the market. The only factor of worry is the price of the laptop. It seems to me very high. anyways lets wait and watch what changes would the manufacturers make to sell their laptop.
