    Facebook Losing Users In Countries

Something strange is going on: Facebook is losing customers.

Lots of customers. According to Inside Facebook's data service, Facebook lost 6 million users in the U.S. last month, dropping from 155.2 million to 149.4 million. That's the first time U.S. numbers have dropped in more than a year.

It also lost 1.52 million users in Canada, dropping to 16.6 million -- that's an 8% drop -- and 100,000 each in the U.K., Norway, and Russia.

Total Facebook users were still up 1.7% thanks to growth in countries where the service got popular later, like Mexico and Brazil.

Well guys, I am curious to know this ppl actually define a user ? For an example if the user account is active, but he never logged in to his account and never actively participate, so do this website really counted as a user or not ?

Yes that user is counted as a user, if a user is removed by the facebook or if the user deactivates his/her account then only he/she will not be considered as a user of the facebook, So these are the two situations where a particular website looses its user. So i hope this much is clear for you. If a user does not operate his account for a longer time then also he will be considered as a member.
