Motorola Droid 3 - First Information

Some information on the technical characteristics circled on an upcoming smartphone Motorola signed: the Droid 3.

Marketed in most of the countries under the name of Milestone, the smartphone is characterized by combining the Android operating system to a full keyboard on the sliding bracket. After the publication of Milestone 2 last December, there was a little guess that a third model arrives before the holiday season.

One member of the community Howard Forums has released the first picture with some information. Thus the terminal would have a 4-inch (960 x 540) against 3.7 for the previous models, and runs on a dual-core chip Nvidia Tegra probably. Besides an HDMI output, the Droid 3 would have two cameras, the main, rear, being 8 megapixels. Also note that the slider would have an extra row at the top to facilitate access to key figures.

Rumors speculate on a release planned for June in the U.S. operator Verizon.

Re: Motorola Droid 3 - First Information

This mobile phone is again a touch screen with a 4" display and 960 by 540 pixels. The sliding keyboard is vastly improved over its predecessor. And it integrates a dual-core CPU, dual core OMAP4 probably clocked at 1.5GHz Texas Instruments. But not least, it should be shipped with Android 2.4. Morphologically very close to its two predecessors, the Motorola Droid 3 includes a slightly different physical keyboard and also more ergonomic since the figures have their own keys on the front line of the screen.
